Youm-e-Quds Rally in Karachi: Traffic Plan and Alternative Routes Announced

KARACHI – To ensure smooth traffic flow during the “Youm-e-Quds” rally today, the Karachi Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive route plan for citizens. Following the Friday prayers, the central rally to express solidarity with Palestinians will commence from Numaish Chowrangi and proceed via M.A. Jinnah Road toward Tibet Centre/Amma Tower.

Traffic Diversions and Alternative Routes

According to the Traffic Police spokesperson, several sections of M.A. Jinnah Road will be closed to regular traffic. Commuters coming from Gurumandir and Soldier Bazar will be diverted toward Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Holy Family Hospital. Those arriving from Lasbela can turn right toward Nishtar Road, Ranchore Line, and Civil Hospital to reach their destinations.

Citizens coming from Banori Signal are encouraged to use PP Chowrangi and Corridor-3. At Tibet Chowk, traffic will be directed right toward Regal Chowk and Empress Market, while traffic on the left will be sent toward Jubilee and Aga Khan Uncle Sariya Hospital.

Commuters from Dawood Pota Road and Lucky Star heading toward Numaish can turn right from Preedy Chowk or use the Saddar Dawakhana route to reach PP Chowrangi. Additionally, traffic on Aga Khan III Road will be guided toward Coast Guard, and from there toward Soldier Bazar or Zebunnisa Street (Mobile Market).

Public Advisory

Traffic police personnel have been deployed across these alternative routes to minimize congestion. The authorities have appealed to the public to plan their journeys ahead of time and opt for the designated alternative paths to avoid any inconvenience.
