KARACHI – The Sindh High Court (SHC) has once again issued notices to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and other relevant authorities regarding the rampant installation of illegal billboards on residential buildings and various sites across the city.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel argued that a large number of unauthorized billboards have been mounted on rooftops, walls, and other precarious locations. The counsel emphasized that these structures are being installed without following safety protocols, posing a severe threat to public safety and the structural integrity of residential areas.
The court has sought a detailed response from the authorities on the measures being taken to remove these hazardous advertisements and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
