Following the resignation of Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Deepak delivered a defiant address at the protest site. While celebrating the minister’s exit as a victory for democracy, Deepak announced that the protests will continue until their remaining core demands are met. The party is demanding 10 million rupees in compensation for the families of students who died by suicide, strict disciplinary action against police officers involved in misconduct, and the immediate withdrawal of all false charges filed against protesting students. Issuing a stern warning to law enforcement, Deepak emphasized that the movement will not relent.
