KARACHI: The Government of Sindh has officially decided to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern digital technologies into the recruitment and examination framework of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). Aligning with the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and directions from Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Hyder Shah chaired a high-level progress meeting on Tuesday. The session was attended by Special Assistant to CM for IT Ali Rashid, SPSC Chairman Rizwan Ahmed, the IT Secretary, and the CEO of Sindh Information Technology Company to discuss the strategic overhaul.
The primary objective of this tech-driven reform is to minimize manual intervention, enhance precision, and enforce absolute merit and transparency across all hiring stages. To achieve this, the initiative will follow a phased execution strategy, starting immediately with the ongoing SPSC examinations before expanding to fully automate all future recruitment processes using international-standard AI modules. Furthermore, the provincial government plans to establish tech-equipped workstations across Sindh, ensuring that candidates from all regions have seamless access to the new digital examination infrastructure.
