KARACHI: Karachi authorities have registered a murder case following the gruesome discovery of a dismembered body found in three separate sacks near the Bawanshah Mazar in Malir City. The victim, estimated to be between 27 and 28 years old, remains unidentified.
According to the First Information Report (FIR No. 638/26), filed by Sub-Inspector Sadaqat Ali, police were alerted to the presence of suspicious sacks in the bushes along the roadside. Upon inspection by the Crime Scene Unit, the contents were revealed to be horrifyingly fragmented: one sack contained the victim’s head with the nose severed, the second contained the torso and severed fingers, while the third contained the lower body and legs.
The remains have been transferred to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and gather forensic evidence. Preliminary investigations suggest the victim was killed at an unknown location before the remains were dumped. Police are currently working to identify the victim and trace the perpetrators behind this heinous crime.
