KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has successfully busted an organized cyber-fraud ring that allegedly extorted millions of rupees from medical aspirants and their parents by falsely promising to inflate MDCAT scores and improve merit rankings. The syndicate systematically targeted vulnerable students and families, using sophisticated methods to deceive them into paying massive sums of money in exchange for guaranteed exam results. Following the operation, the primary suspects have been arrested, and their mobile phones and electronic devices have been seized for forensic analysis to trace digital footprints. Meanwhile, nationwide raids and operations have been significantly expanded across the country to apprehend the remaining facilitators, agents, and network members.
