US President Donald Trump has officially rejected international calls to slow down the pace of artificial intelligence development. In a recent statement, Trump emphasized that in the global race for technological advancement, “whoever wins the AI race, wins the game.”
He stated that he will not hinder the progress of a technology that is projected to surpass even the historic impact of the Industrial Revolution and the internet. Furthermore, Trump announced his vision to rebrand AI as “Super Intelligence,” noting that the term feels much more powerful and fitting than artificial intelligence.
