KARACHI: Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon, Provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, and PPPP Central Spokesperson Shazia Marri have strongly criticized PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif for his recent remarks targeting regions in Sindh and Azad Kashmir.
Sharjeel Memon asserted that political differences should never translate into the ridicule or mockery of any province, city, or community, labeling such rhetoric as a sign of conscious backwardness. Building on this, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah stated that Nawaz Sharif insulted the historic city of Mirpurkhas and its millions of residents, thereby demanding an unconditional public apology for undermining Sindh’s cultural and economic contributions. Furthermore, addressing the upcoming regional elections, Shazia Marri emphasized that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari champions equal rights, self-governance, and a prosperous future for the people of Kashmir, while urging political rivals to present constructive manifestos rather than engaging in blame games.
