KARACHI: The Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami, Shujauddin Sheikh, stated that the revelation of the “Epstein Files” has once again unmasked the true face of the West, serving as a wake-up call for secular and liberal circles worldwide.
In a press statement, Shujauddin Sheikh remarked that the leaked files of Jeffrey Epstein have shattered the illusions of high moral values often claimed by Western societies, exposing a deep-rooted “diabolical” reality.
Civilizational Collapse and Hypocrisy The Ameer emphasized that the Epstein Files are not merely about the sexual depravity of a few individuals; they are a living testament to the moral, intellectual, and cultural decline of the global elite. While the West portrays itself as the champion of human rights, these revelations prove their involvement in the worst forms of human exploitation. He further noted that Epstein’s network symbolized a nexus where the weak and helpless—particularly young girls—are treated as mere commodities for trade and consumption.
Criticism of Sindh Assembly The statement also addressed local legislative matters, where Shujauddin Sheikh termed it “shameful” that Muslim members of the Sindh Assembly recently rejected a minority member’s demand to ban the sale and purchase of alcohol. He urged for a serious reflection on these moral issues and a realignment with Islamic values.
