KARACHI: The Sindh Information Department is set to overhaul and modernize its media monitoring system to align it with contemporary technological standards. Chairing a high-level meeting at the Directorate of Social and Digital Media, Sindh Information Secretary Kashif Gulzar Shaikh directed officials to ensure efficient, transparent, and comprehensive tracking of government policies, development projects, and public welfare initiatives.
The meeting—attended by Director Advertisements Muhammad Yousuf Kabooro, Director Social & Digital Media Aziz Ahmed Hakro, and other key officials—reviewed the current monitoring mechanisms across print, electronic, digital, and social media platforms.
The Secretary emphasized that a modernized and professional media monitoring system is crucial not only for evaluating government performance accurately but also for playing a pivotal role in delivering timely and authentic information to the public.
