Saudi Arabia Launches ‘Package Visa’ for Pakistan & 6 Other Nations

In a major bid to boost global tourism, the Saudi Ministry of Tourism has launched a revolutionary “Package Visa” program, with citizens of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Jordan, Egypt, and Mexico selected to benefit in its inaugural phase. The standout feature of this new scheme is that travelers no longer need to submit standalone visa applications or visit a Saudi embassy. Instead, passengers can purchase a unified travel package through an authorized travel agency that seamlessly bundles round-trip flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and an electronic tourist visa into a single booking. Once the online payment is completed, the electronic visa, travel insurance, and all relevant travel documents are dispatched directly to the traveler’s email. For the initial rollout, the Ministry has designated “Reserval” and “Almosafer” as the authorized service providers, guaranteeing that the entire digital visa processing is finalized within 48 hours of purchasing an approved package.

To maintain high hospitality standards, the Saudi government has outlined specific terms and conditions for travelers utilizing this package. The issued electronic tourist visa is a single-entry visa valid for three months, allowing a minimum stay of 2 days and a maximum stay of up to 88 days. Additionally, the booking must contain a confirmed round-trip airline ticket, and accommodations are strictly restricted to four-star or five-star hotels officially approved by the Ministry of Tourism.

In terms of pricing, the Ministry has structured this premium package at a base rate of SAR 4,000 per adult for the first two days, which covers flights, luxury lodging, and integrated visa processing. For travelers wishing to extend their stay beyond the initial two days, an additional rate of SAR 1,000 is applicable for each subsequent day.
