KARACHI: A leaked audio conversation has surfaced involving Police Surgeon Dr. Samia and Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) Dr. Osama, discussing the preparation and release of the autopsy report for the late Mir Raza. In the recording, Dr. Samia can be heard assuring Dr. Osama that they will sit together to carefully craft every word of the autopsy report using technical expertise before its official release. She instructs him that while the report will bear his name rather than hers, he must issue it immediately upon receipt, adding that she will personally hand the report to an individual named Jibran so that the victim’s family can pursue the matter further. Furthermore, addressing Dr. Osama’s potential concerns, Dr. Samia reassures him that the final findings acknowledge torture and that he will ultimately be shielded from any direct backlash, stating, “This fight is mine alone, and you are already out of it.”
