KARACHI: Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi has asserted that he is a dedicated political worker committed to ensuring transparency and accountability within the Governor House. Speaking at a press conference, Hashmi emphasized his responsibility to represent every district of Sindh with integrity and justice.
Focus on Youth and IT Development
In a significant move for the province’s youth, the Governor announced the restoration of IT training courses at the Governor House. He highlighted that opportunities would be provided under the Prime Minister’s Youth Development Program, with a strategic goal to boost IT exports to $26 billion within the next five years.
Accountability and Governance
Governor Hashmi made it clear that a thorough audit of provincial matters would be conducted. He stated that every activity at the Governor House, during and after Ramadan, will be conducted with decorum and organization. Furthermore, he pledged to ensure citizens’ welfare and safety in Karachi, promote peace across the province, and strengthen Pakistan as a unified bouquet of diverse units.

Addressing the ongoing gas and electricity issues, the Governor appealed for public cooperation and promised transparent investigations to protect the rights of consumers. Paying tribute to the Quaid-e-Azam and the sacrifices of the armed forces, Hashmi reiterated his commitment to making Sindh a stronghold of stability and development for the country.
