Mayor Murtaza Wahab Inspects Key Road Construction in Korangi During Late-Night Visit

In a recent late-night development tour, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inspected the ongoing infrastructure projects in District Korangi, specifically focusing on the vital Nasir Jump to Mehransa Road, which connects Korangi Creek with Ibrahim Hyderi. During the site visit, officials from the Engineering Department provided a detailed briefing on the technical progress of the venture. This mega project, executed through the joint collaboration of the Local Government Department and the CLICK Project, features the complete reconstruction of an 1,800-meter-long road network.

To provide a permanent solution to the area’s long-standing drainage and sewage issues, the project incorporates a modern infrastructure design. Teams are rapidly installing a 36-inch diameter storm water drain alongside an 18-inch sewerage pipeline, which aims to significantly alleviate the daily hardships faced by the local population.

Speaking to the media at the location, Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated that the pace and superior quality of the development work speak for themselves, serving as a beacon of hope for the citizens of Karachi. He emphasized that the tangible performance of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has successfully silenced political opponents and countered negative propaganda. Under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Mayor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working round-the-clock, ensuring that while critics remain limited to allegations, the public can see real progress on the ground.
