KARACHI: Classes have resumed at the girls’ campus of Delhi Government School in Karachi following a one-day suspension, while the boys’ campus has been closed for a week due to a lack of administrative consensus.
According to Boys Campus Principal Ali Khan Mir Jat, control of the boys’ facility has been assumed by a concerned stakeholder, resulting in a week-long closure for approximately 700 students. Education department directives may prompt efforts to temporarily accommodate the male students at the girls’ campus, which currently enrolls 2,200 students.
Girls Campus Principal Irfana stated that the building has been provided on a temporary basis for a few days, pending the next court hearing scheduled for September 7. Meanwhile, male students remain gathered outside their campus as a definitive arrangement for their continued education is yet to be finalized.
