KARACHI: In a shocking turn of events, the Landhi Police have arrested a woman for allegedly orchestrating a robbery at her own parents’ residence and recovered stolen gold worth millions of rupees.
According to police officials, the suspect, along with her accomplices, looted valuable items and jewelry from her parents’ house earlier today. The case took a swift turn when investigators analyzed CCTV footage from the crime scene, which led to the identification of the daughter as the primary suspect.
The Recovery
Following a targeted raid, the police successfully apprehended the woman within hours of the incident. During the operation, authorities recovered gold ornaments valued at approximately Rs. 10 million along with other stolen valuables and documents.
Ongoing Investigation
“The identification was made possible through technical surveillance and CCTV footage,” a police spokesperson stated. While the primary suspect is in custody, her accomplices managed to flee the scene during the initial raid.
Police teams are currently conducting further raids across the city to arrest the remaining suspects. A formal case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway to determine if this group has been involved in similar activities previously.
