Inside the Cartel: Interim Charge Sheet Exposes “Medium Pinky” as Karachi’s Drug Kingpin

KARACHI: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has submitted an interim charge sheet (chalan) against notorious drug dealer Anmol, alias Munazza, alias Pinky, before the Additional District and Sessions Judge at the Karachi Central Jail Judicial Complex. The investigation has unearthed a massive drug trafficking network spearheaded by Pinky, revealing that she faces at least 21 criminal cases. Alongside the ringleader, the interim charge sheet names her brother Nasir, Ainullah, and Maysar Ali (alias Koki/Atif) as the key arrested suspects, who were apprehended in Karachi’s Akhtar Colony with heavy quantities of hashish and cocaine.

During the interrogation, arrested accomplice Maysar Ali disclosed that they distributed drugs across the city solely on Pinky’s directives, further revealing that the cartel sold high-grade narcotics at exorbitant rates ranging from PKR 12,000 to PKR 15,000 per gram, a pricing structure personally fixed by Pinky. Following these revelations, Investigating Officer Inspector Mansoor interrogated Pinky at the women’s prison, where she formally confessed to being the mastermind and ringleader of the entire narcotics network. Additionally, family details emerged as her brother Nasir revealed that Pinky had previously cut ties with her family and relocated to Lahore before running these operations. The legal proceedings stem from a case formally registered on November 18, 2018, and the CTD has now listed 14 prosecution witnesses, including IO Inspector Mansoor, to testify against the cartel in court.
