KARACHI: Ahsanullah, the online taxi driver who dropped off Meer Raza Ali, has come forward with crucial details regarding the ride. According to his statement, Meer Raza booked the ride at 3:57 PM and was contacted at 4:07 PM upon arrival at his location, with the trip officially beginning at 4:09 PM.
The driver outlined their route, noting that they traveled from Khalid Bin Waleed Road to Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Stadium, Millennium Mall, Perfume Chowk (Johar Mor), and finally towards Mosamiyat. Ahsanullah stated that after initial directions, Meer Raza guided the route himself, played music in the car, urged the driver to speed up, and continuously used his smartphone without making any phone calls. Emphasizing that he possesses the complete digital record of the journey, the driver confirmed that no one was present at the final drop-off location.
