KARACHI: The Sindh Forensic Division has released its report regarding the young businessman Mir Raza Ali murder case, revealing that the 30-bore bullet casing recovered from the Gulistan-e-Jauhar crime scene did not match the test casings of the security guard’s registered pistol. Addressing media reports, the Sindh Police spokesperson clarified that the forensic report, issued on August 10, has been an integral part of the official case file, the initial supplementary challan, and documents submitted to the Sindh High Court Commission from the outset. Furthermore, the forensic laboratory identified negligence on the part of the relevant arms dealer and recommended legal action against them. Police confirmed that the investigator personally submitted the casing to the laboratory and noted that the weapon verification process will be repeated once the actual murder weapon is recovered. In light of these developments, authorities have urged media outlets to verify facts with relevant institutions prior to publication to prevent the dissemination of misleading information.
