KARACHI: Former national chief selector Touseef Ahmed has leveled serious allegations against former head coach and chief selector Saqlain Mushtaq, claiming that Saqlain used external influence to secure a spot for his son-in-law, all-rounder Shadab Khan, in the national cricket team. Touseef asserted that Saqlain favored Shadab exclusively, questioned how the player managed to secure a central contract immediately upon returning from abroad, and claimed to possess alleged phone recordings backing his claims.
