Renowned Spanish pastry chef Marc Suárez created a monumental, museum-grade wedding cake weighing 500 kilograms for a private royal Saudi wedding held at the Palais Garnier in Paris. Standing at 3.5 meters tall and 1.8 meters wide, this masterpiece resembles a fine art sculpture rather than a traditional wedding dessert. The project required 1.5 months of conceptualization and 4 months of active production, totaling approximately 1,800 hours of labor. Due to its massive scale, Suárez enlisted the help of fellow pastry chefs, family, and friends to craft and meticulously arrange 33,000 handmade flower petals and branches. The grand reception took place in Paris for a Saudi couple who chose to remain anonymous, marking this creation as the most ambitious and complex project of Suárez’s celebrated career.
