KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has directed the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to submit a formal response by October 1 regarding a petition filed to obtain the bank transaction details of Mir Raza.
During the hearing, investigating authorities informed the court that they are currently probing the flow of funds to trace financial transactions and beneficiaries. However, officials stated they are unaware of which banks Mir Raza holds accounts in and noted that the State Bank required a court order before sharing account details.
Emphasizing the importance of the financial trail, the state prosecutor maintained that uncovering these bank details and transaction histories would significantly aid the ongoing investigation. The court has now sought a reply from the central bank by the next hearing date.
