KARACHI: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), under the directives of Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has announced a comprehensive city-wide kidney disease screening program. Implemented through the Karachi Institute of Kidney Diseases (KIKD) in collaboration with Union Council chairpersons, the initiative aims to facilitate early detection, gather accurate epidemiological data, and provide medical guidance and treatment to affected citizens across Karachi. The campaign will also feature public awareness drives to promote early diagnosis and preventive healthcare.
