KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has taken strict notice of the deteriorating road conditions and persistent sewage issues in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area, directing Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab to take immediate corrective action and ordering the urgent rehabilitation of both main thoroughfares and internal roads. He further instructed the Mayor to personally oversee ongoing development and repair works, address drainage problems, clear sewerage lines, and submit a detailed report. Emphasizing that citizens should not face inconvenience due to construction activities, CM Sindh mandated emergency measures across the city to improve civic infrastructure, warning that delays and poor maintenance will not be tolerated.
