In a major crackdown against narcotics distribution in the metropolis, the Boat Basin Police have successfully arrested two bike riders associated with the notorious drug dealer Anmol alias Pinky’s network. The suspects, identified as Aaqib-ur-Rehman and Ghulam Mustafa, were intercepted in a suspicious state during a routine police patrol on Main Shahrah-e-Ghalib near Kala Gate, Clifton Block 6. Upon searching the individuals, law enforcement officials recovered 2 grams of cocaine and 60 grams of Ice (Crystal Meth) from Aaqib, while 55 grams of Ice were seized from Ghulam Mustafa. The confiscated contraband was weighed on the spot using a digital scale inside the police mobile, and an unregistered motorcycle along with some cash was also taken into custody.
During the initial interrogation, the arrested riders confessed to operating under WhatsApp directions from Hassan, the manager of the “Anmol alias Pinky” drug ring. Hassan would coordinate specific drop-off locations and hand over the narcotics, using these riders as delivery couriers across the city. Following the recovery, Case No. 430/2026 has been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act on behalf of Sub-Inspector Abid Hussain. The suspects, along with the seized drugs and the vehicle, have now been handed over to the Investigation Police for further probe into the cartel’s operations.
