KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Karachi, Azad Khan, visited the Police Madadgar 15 Call Center to conduct a comprehensive review of the city’s emergency response system. During the visit, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, provided a detailed briefing to the Karachi police chief regarding the center’s overall performance, ongoing initiatives, and future strategic upgrades.
The Additional IG examined the operational workflow, call response times, and the mechanism for redressing public grievances. Senior officials, including SSP East and other departmental heads, were also present during the inspection. Azad Khan issued specific instructions to the staff and officers to ensure more effective, professional, and timely service delivery to the citizens.
According to a Karachi Police spokesperson, the primary objective of this visit was to streamline the emergency services and ensure that the citizens of Karachi receive immediate assistance during crises.
