The Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, along with IGP Sindh Javed Alam Odho and Karachi Police Chief Asad Khan, has highly commended the officers and personnel of the Sindh Police, Pakistan Rangers, and intelligence agencies for ensuring foolproof security arrangements from the start of Muharram until Youm-e-Ashura. This successful operation was driven by exceptional inter-agency coordination and real-time intelligence sharing, particularly by the Sindh Special Branch, which allowed for a swift and synchronized response across the province. The comprehensive security plan seamlessly integrated modern technology, aerial surveillance, and efficient traffic management, with police personnel remaining alert at their designated posts until all mourners and citizens returned safely. Expressing gratitude to religious scholars and community stakeholders for their cooperation, the Home Minister also directed the IGP to maintain this high level of vigilance, intelligence-based monitoring, and rapid response for all future public and religious gatherings to ensure long-term peace and stability in the region.
