KARACHI: In a decisive move to maintain law and order, the District West Police executed a targeted combing and search operation across multiple neighborhoods, including Janjal Goth, Bahadur Goth, and surrounding areas within the jurisdiction of the Gulshan-e-Maymar Police Station. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West, Tariq Elahi Mastoi, the operation was strategically launched to eliminate criminal elements from the locality. To ensure maximum effectiveness, law enforcement forces sealed off all entry and exit points of the targeted zones before initiating the search, while personnel utilized advanced biometric verification devices on the spot to screen and verify the identities of several suspicious individuals. Supervised by the SDPO Surjani Town and led by the SHO Gulshan-e-Maymar, the operation featured a robust joint deployment of regular police personnel, female officers, and intelligence staff. SSP West emphasized that the primary objective of this high-alert crackdown is to guarantee public safety, restore community peace, and ensure the swift apprehension of criminals.
