KARACHI: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially announced the annual results for the Matric (Class 10) General Group for the year 2026, covering both regular and private candidates. Out of the 15,446 registered students, 14,749 appeared for the examinations while 697 remained absent. Continuing the historical trend, female students completely dominated the top slots, comfortably securing all three leading positions on the merit list. Tooba Fatima clinched the coveted first position with an outstanding score of 90.27%, followed closely by Amna Asad in second place with 87.82%, and Safia Munawar securing the third position with 87.73%.
Commending the dedication of the teachers and board staff, BSEK Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput praised their efforts in ensuring the timely release of these results. He reiterated the board’s unwavering commitment to maintaining absolute transparency throughout the examination process. In a significant move toward modernization, the Chairman also announced that computerized assessment and e-marking have officially commenced for the evaluation of Class 9 examination papers, promising even greater speed, accuracy, and transparency in future results.
