KARACHI: Pakistan’s largest educational and technological extravaganza, the Karachi International Book & EdTech Fair (KIBEF) 2026, is all set to welcome visitors from May 1 to May 3 at the Karachi Expo Center (Halls 2 & 3). The three-day mega event is being organized through a collaborative effort by M-Tech Systems, Urdu Academy Sindh, and Orbit Advertising. Chairman of KIBEF 2026, Ali K. Chishti, announced that all preparations are complete and every available stall has already been booked, reflecting immense interest from both the public and corporate sectors.

Where Tradition Meets Innovation

Breaking the mold of traditional book fairs, this year’s festival serves as a unique intersection of literature and digital advancement. The exhibition will feature over 200 book and EdTech stalls, while more than 75 national and international EdTech organizations will showcase cutting-edge educational products and services.

The event promises a diverse range of activities catering to students, educators, and tech enthusiasts. Robothon 3.0 will be the fair’s crown jewel, where students from across Pakistan will compete in thrilling robotics competitions. In the International Pavilion, global publishers and international EdTech firms will facilitate cross-border academic networking. Future-readiness is a core theme, with specialized training sessions and workshops focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital literacy. Additionally, leading banks will participate as FinTech partners to introduce participants to modern digital banking and financial technologies.

Literature and Recognition

The “Literary Galaxy” section will feature high-profile book launches, meet-and-greets with renowned authors, intellectual debates, and a dedicated Startup Showcase. Furthermore, a prestigious awards ceremony will be held to honor individuals who have rendered outstanding services in the field of education.

“This platform will serve as a milestone in awakening creative thinking among our youth,” said Ali K. Chishti.

To keep the excitement high, the organizers have also planned lucky draws, grand prizes, and interactive learning zones for all attendees throughout the three-day event.
