KARACHI: In a significant tribute to the legendary humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved registering the Edhi Foundation’s newly acquired air ambulance under his initials. Upon the foundation’s request to Director General CAA, the aircraft has been officially registered as AP-ASE (representing Abdul Sattar Edhi). Following the formal approval, the new registration code has been painted onto the air ambulance aircraft.
