KARACHI: Authorities have granted a one-month extension for mandatory vaccination compliance affecting passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia on Umrah, Hajj, and work visas. According to a newly issued circular, strict enforcement of vaccination requirements and document verification at Karachi Airport will now commence on November 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, extending the previous deadline of October 15. Under these updated guidelines, all travelers in the specified visa categories are required to receive vaccinations for Meningitis, Influenza, and Polio at least 10 days prior to their departure date, while ensuring they carry valid vaccination cards in accordance with official regulations. To facilitate prospective travelers, particularly those arriving from remote areas, round-the-clock vaccination facilities remain operational at the Karachi Airport government dispensary, alongside an emergency setup in the Departure Lounge. Officials strongly advise all passengers to complete their required immunizations and verify their travel documentation well in advance of the new implementation date to avoid any inconvenience or delays during check-in and departure.
