KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the annual examination results for the Intermediate Class 12 Commerce Group (Regular and Private) for the year 2026. BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho revealed that female students from Tabani’s College (North Nazimabad Campus) swept all top three positions in the regular group, highlighting the institute’s academic excellence. Amna bint Muhammad Arif secured first place with 993 out of 1100 marks (A-1 Grade), Manahil Nadeem claimed second with 983 marks (A-1 Grade), and Shifa Aamir achieved third place with 969 marks (A-1 Grade). Meanwhile, in the commerce private group, Erisha Ayaz clinched the top spot with 914 marks (A-1 Grade), followed by Hafsa in second place with 901 marks (A-1 Grade), and Anousha in third place with 874 marks (A Grade).
Providing the statistical overview, Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid stated that the regular group registered 26,432 candidates, out of which 25,528 appeared and 14,132 successfully passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 55.36%. This included 235 candidates in the A-1 grade, 1,302 in the A grade, 2,942 in the B grade, 4,993 in the C grade, 4,291 in the D grade, and 369 in the E grade. For the private group, 1,815 candidates were registered and 1,699 appeared, with 787 candidates passing, marking a pass percentage of 46.32%. The private group results featured 2 candidates in A-1, 52 in A, 166 in B, 270 in C, 270 in D, and 26 in E grades. Students can now access their comprehensive results through the official BIEK website at www.biek.edu.pk or by downloading the official “BIEK” Android application from the Google Play Store.
