KARACHI: PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), accusing both parties of hypocrisy and exposing an “anti-Sindh” agenda.
Reacting to recent political activities and public gatherings in the province by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Khuhro stated that while political freedom of movement is permitted, the KP leadership’s rhetoric about “saving Sindh” from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is the height of political hypocrisy. He argued that past PTI leadership made similar empty claims that yielded nothing for the province.
Khuhro specifically targeted MQM-P and PTI for boycotting and abstaining from voting on a critical Sindh Assembly constitutional resolution opposing any division of the province or alterations to its territorial boundaries. According to him, this legislative inaction unmasked their true stance, proving that their public promises regarding the protection of Sindh’s rights are confined to mere rhetoric.
