KARACHI: A Karachi local court has acquitted Natasha, the prime accused in the high-profile 2024 Karsaz accident case, in the remaining narcotics prohibition case after medical reports failed to substantiate drug use. The development follows her earlier acquittal in the primary manslaughter case, which was secured after the victims’ legal heirs submitted a formal compromise deed stating they forgave the accused “for the sake of Allah.” The tragic incident occurred on August 19, 2024, when a speeding vehicle on Karsaz Road struck and killed a father and daughter while injuring three others, sparking widespread public outrage and leading to her initial arrest.
