KARACHI: Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab stated that the blessed life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) serve as a guiding light for all of humanity. Speaking to the media after inaugurating the newly renovated Khatam-e-Nubuwwat Chowk in Saddar during the sacred month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, he emphasized that true devotion to the Prophet (PBUH) requires incorporating the Sunnah into daily life and reflecting love for him through character, speech, and actions. The Mayor noted that the chowk has been completely refurbished, beautifully decorated, and illuminated to honor the occasion, with its ongoing maintenance entrusted to representatives of the local electronics market. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Mayor Salman Abdullah Murad, PPP Parliamentary Leader Karamullah Waqasi, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Dil Muhammad, city council members, religious scholars, and a large gathering of citizens.
