Highlighting the government’s development efforts, Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah stated that significant upgrades have been made to the quality of education and infrastructure in public colleges. These initiatives include ensuring the full availability of specialized teachers, introducing a phased digital attendance system for both faculty and students, modernizing computer labs, and transitioning colleges to solar power to ensure uninterrupted learning during lab sessions. To facilitate the next steps, the department will officially release the college placement lists on July 20, 2026, allowing students to submit their required documents at their respective colleges. Following the completion of all admission formalities, regular classes for the new academic session are scheduled to formally commence across Sindh on August 1, 2026. The Minister also urged parents to actively monitor their children’s college attendance to support these collaborative educational reforms.
