KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies conducted a raid on an office located on the second floor of a building on I.I. Chundrigar Road, detaining more than a dozen individuals and seizing various items from the premises.
According to police sources, the raid took place while individuals inside the office were listening to a telephonic address by the leader of a political party.
During the operation, officials confiscated organizational literature, party flags, laptops, and other materials. Following the raid, Assistant Commissioner Aram Bagh, Hazim Bangwar, arrived at the scene. After completing the necessary legal formalities, the office was officially sealed.
Sources stated that the detained individuals have been handed over to the police for further interrogation. An investigation is currently underway regarding the recovered items and the nature of the activities conducted at the office.
According to officials, further details regarding the operation will be shared once the investigation is concluded.
