KARACHI: The Sindh government has officially announced the schedule for releasing the annual examination results of Matriculation and Intermediate across the province.
The decision was finalized during a high-level meeting chaired by the Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Mohammad Ismail Rahoo. The meeting was attended by Secretary Universities Mohammad Abbas Baloch and the chairmen of all educational boards in the province to review the recently concluded annual exams.
Key Result Deadlines
According to the official decision, the results will be rolled out in phases to facilitate students. The Matriculation (10th Grade) results will be announced by July 10, while the Intermediate (12th Grade) results will be declared by July 31. Furthermore, the results for the 9th and 11th Grade will be announced by August 31.
Minister Mohammad Ismail Rahoo emphasized that ensuring the timely announcement of results is a top priority so that students face no delays when applying for admissions to higher education institutions. He reiterated the government’s commitment to providing full support to all educational boards to maintain transparency, merit, and overall improvement in the examination system.
Exam Updates and Strict Actions
During the meeting, board chairmen briefed the minister on the conduct of exams in their respective divisions. In the Sukkur Division, duties of exam monitoring teams showing “zero performance” were immediately cancelled. Meanwhile, Secretary Universities Mohammad Abbas Baloch reported that multiple cases were registered against individuals violating Section 144 during the exams in Karachi. Additionally, Prof. Fakhar-i-Karim (Faqeer Mohammad) Lakho, Chairman of the Karachi Intermediate Board, confirmed that the ongoing Intermediate exams in the metropolis will conclude on June 15.
