KARACHI: The Garden Police have announced the arrest of a high-profile suspect, identified as Anmol alias Pinky, allegedly a central figure in a sprawling cocaine and synthetic drug supply network across the city. According to police officials, the suspect was a “most wanted” fugitive, sought by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), for her involvement in several pending cases.
During the targeted operation, police recovered high-grade cocaine and various chemicals valued at millions of rupees, alongside illicit weapons and live ammunition. Initial investigations reveal that Anmol operated a sophisticated and organized distribution network that utilized digital platforms to manage sales through online orders.
The network strategically employed a dedicated fleet of riders, including female couriers, to transport drugs and evade suspicion from law enforcement agencies. Authorities claim that the network’s clientele included students from various educational institutions and individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, with the suspect allegedly generating millions of rupees in daily sales.
With dozens of cases already registered against her at various police stations, the suspect is currently undergoing interrogation. Police are working to trace the broader links of this network to apprehend other facilitators and financiers involved in the trade.
