KARACHI – April 13, 2026 The Keamari District Police conducted a high-profile raid on a gambling den operating out of a hut at Turtle Beach, Maripur, resulting in the arrest of 40 suspects, including a notorious female organizer.
The Operation Acting on a tip-off, a heavy contingent of the Maripur Police, led by the Station House Officer (SHO), raided the premises. The suspects were reportedly caught red-handed while engaged in gambling activities.
Key Arrests and Seizures According to a spokesperson for the Keamari Police, the arrested individuals include Zubaida (alias Adeeba), the alleged mastermind and patron of the den. Police officials stated that Zubaida was a high-value target and had been “most wanted” in connection with organized gambling and betting circuits across Karachi. During the raid, the police recovered Rs. 255,500 in cash (draw money) along with various gambling paraphernalia and equipment used for betting.
Legal Action The Maripur Police have registered a formal case against all 40 suspects. Further investigations are underway to uncover the extent of the network and any potential facilitators.
