KARACHI: The traffic police have announced the reopening of several key arteries around the US Consulate that were previously closed due to security measures. Containers have been removed, restoring the flow of traffic on major routes connecting the port and southern districts.
According to the latest updates, the route from Jinnah Bridge to Boat Basin via M.T. Khan Road and Mai Kolachi is now fully operational. Similarly, the track from Boat Basin back to Jinnah Bridge has been cleared of all containers. The authorities have also opened the path from Jinnah Bridge to PIDC via Sultanabad, while the remaining blockades on the PIDC-Sultanabad stretch are currently being removed to ensure a smooth commute.
