KARACHI – In a tragic accident in the Saleh Muhammad Goth area of Malir, two children succumbed to their injuries after a Vigo vehicle fell off a bridge, rescue sources confirmed on Saturday.
Details of the Incident The accident occurred when a speeding Vigo lost control and plunged from the bridge, leaving five people severely injured. According to rescue officials, the victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Casualties and Injuries Despite medical efforts, two children—identified as Shahzad and Hamza—who were in critical condition, passed away at the hospital. While the two children lost their lives, three other individuals sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
Investigation The local authorities and rescue teams have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, whether it was due to a technical failure or overspeeding.
