KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari convened a high-level meeting with a delegation of Balochistan provincial ministers at Bilawal House, Karachi, to comprehensively deliberate on the province’s security landscape, ongoing development projects, and overall socio-economic progress. During the discussion, the President underscored that accelerating the pace of development and ensuring the delivery of basic public services remain top priorities for the government. He directed authorities to expedite the execution of ongoing welfare and infrastructure projects across Balochistan. Furthermore, President Zardari emphasized the need for a unified strategy, urging all relevant institutions to work in close coordination to strengthen law and order, foster economic growth, and promote commercial activities in the region.
The provincial delegation comprised key cabinet officials, including Minister for Irrigation Sadiq Umrani, Minister for Planning & Development Zahoor Buledi, Minister for Health Mir Bakht Kakar, Minister for Livestock Sardar Faisal Jamali, Minister for Commerce & Industry Kuhyar Domki, Minister for Labor Ghulam Rasool Umrani, and PPP Balochistan Senior Vice President Mir Ali Hassan Zehri.
