Pakistan Navy successfully executed a major counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, seizing over 2,800 kilograms of narcotics valued at approximately $750 million in the international market.
Conducted under Maritime Security Operations, the mission was spearheaded by PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmouk, which intercepted a suspicious fishing vessel. Following the successful operation, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf commended the crew’s exceptional vigilance and readiness to safeguard national maritime interests.
High-ranking leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, lauded the Pakistan Navy for its professionalism, operational readiness, and vital role in curbing maritime smuggling and protecting national waters.
