KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the annual examination results for the Intermediate Class 12 Arts (Regular Group) 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 45.25%. Out of the 10,459 candidates who registered and the 10,002 who appeared in the examinations, a total of 4,526 candidates successfully passed.
Position Holders
The first position was secured by Inshirah bint Muhammad Taufiq (Roll No. 58093) from Iqra Huffaz Girls Science College, North Nazimabad, who scored 926 out of 1100 marks with an A-1 grade. The second position was claimed by Aqib Razzaq s/o Abdul Razzaq (Roll No. 43415) from Government Degree College, Konkar Village, Gadap, with 919 marks and an A-1 grade. Meanwhile, the third position was attained by Humaira bint Muhammad Shakir Lakhani (Roll No. 58097) from Iqra Huffaz Girls Science College, North Nazimabad, who secured 918 marks with an A-1 grade.

BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho commended the remarkable achievement of the student from Government Degree College Konkar Village, highlighting it as proof of the steadily improving educational standards in Sindh’s public institutions. The grade-wise breakdown shows that 20 candidates achieved an A-1 grade, 274 secured an A grade, 762 achieved a B grade, 1,647 secured a C grade, 1,659 attained a D grade, 164 earned an E grade, and 2 candidates passed overall.
