Before the end of the first half, a heated altercation broke out between the two teams. While attempting to defuse the tension, referee Iván Barton accidentally dropped his luxury wristwatch.
Instead of returning the timepiece immediately, Galarza was seen picking it up, strapping it onto his own wrist, and casually testing its buttons while the referee remained completely oblivious to the situation.
