GILGIT/KARACHI : Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated party workers on their performance in the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) legislative assembly elections, claiming a “rain of arrows” in the region.
According to unofficial results announced for 19 out of the 24 electoral constituencies, the PPP is currently leading the polls by securing 9 seats.
Taking to social media, the PPP Chairman expressed his gratitude to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for placing their trust in the party. Bilawal highlighted that the PPP is emerging as the single largest political force in the GB elections and stated that the party would make strategic efforts to form the next government in Gilgit-Baltistan. He further added that he is deeply grateful to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for expressing their confidence in the PPP through their votes.
The final official results for the remaining constituencies are still awaited.
