KARACHI – In a startling revelation, the Karachi Police has uncovered an illegal liquor distribution network operating under the cover of a medical clinic in the Ibrahim Hyderi area.
The Raid and Arrest
Acting on a tip-off, law enforcement agencies conducted a targeted operation in Juma Goth, Ibrahim Hyderi. During the raid, police apprehended a suspect identified as Bhagwan Das and seized over 300 bottles of liquor from the premises.
The Modus Operandi
According to police statements, the arrested suspect confessed that the illegal trade was being managed by an individual named Gulshan (alias Dr. Gul), who posed as a medical professional. The “clinic” served as a front to deflect suspicion from neighbors and authorities while illegal substances were sold behind closed doors.
Key Suspects Identified
During initial interrogation, Bhagwan Das named two primary accomplices involved in the network, including Gulshan (alias Dr. Gul), the alleged mastermind posing as a doctor, and Sunny, a key associate in the distribution ring.
Current Status
The Karachi Police confirmed that a case has been registered and investigations are underway to determine the extent of the operation. While one suspect is in custody, raids are being conducted across the city to arrest Dr. Gul, Sunny, and other members of the gang.
