KARACHI: The Sindh Textbook Board (STBB) has completed the preparation of 5 million textbook sets for the upcoming academic year 2026-27. The formal distribution ceremony was held on Thursday at the Government Girls Lower Secondary School in Neelam Colony, Clifton. Sindh Education Minister, Sardar Ali Shah, attended the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the distribution process for the new academic session.
According to the board officials, a total of 195 different titles have been published, catering to students from Early Child Education (ECE) up to Class X. To ensure inclusivity and accessibility across the province, the textbooks have been printed in three languages: Sindhi, Urdu, and English. This timely preparation aims to ensure that students across Sindh receive their curriculum materials before the start of the new classes, avoiding the delays often seen in previous years.
